This patch is recommended for experienced players only. Do note that this patch might make the game less fun for some players as it makes it incredibly hard and realistic. This patch was developed to make the game more realistic and fix some inherent bugs that were shipped out when it was launched. Gameplay and Graphics Overhaul Mod (SweetFX) If you do know how to mod you can make it work, but otherwise just install this mod and enjoy the game if you’re new to the modding scene. NOTE: This is supposed to be an overhaul mod so you shouldn’t have any other mods in your directory already. You can also zoom in when entering cars by pressing RS (click the right stick). You can toggle the HUD by pressing ‘9 + semicolon’. It’s strictly a coding thing and there’s no way to get around it.Īnother tip is to turn off the HUD as the game is much more immersive without it in first-person view. If you don’t want your body clipping in first person (your character’s edges going through walls and textures), you’ll have to remove all clothes including the shoes and the underwear. The only caveat is that you have to run it with DirectX 9 to have it working properly, otherwise the HD graphics won’t have any effect. It also includes increased blood to make the game more ‘visual’ and adds female officers. This mod includes but isn’t limited to a first-person camera (that’s optional), a sandbox to play in, SweetFX, a HD Texture pack for amazing graphics, a Realism Damage mod for more life-like behaviour, and improved Weapon Textures. It’s arguably one of the most complete Saints Row 3 mods that overhauls the game and changes the way you look at it. If you want to download just one mod and one mod only, this is it.
